Molly grew up in Pennsylvania and began to work professionally when she was a teenager in Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her first production as a professional was The Snow Queen. Then she was nominated as an Barrymore Award nominee for her role of Little Red Ridinghood at the Arden Theater's production of Into the Woods. Molly reprised the role in the production when she performed her Broadway debut in Into the Woods at Broadway, in 2002. She received a Drama League Award for this performance. Molly performed on Broadway during the 2004 revival of Fiddler on the Roof. She was a student at Princeton University as a Triangle Club Membership and earned a B.A. After that, she went to Princeton University, where she was part of the Triangle Club. She earned a Bachelor's degree in the year 2008. Also, she appeared in the Disney film College Road Trip, playing Wendy Greenhut. Molly was able to begin her professional career after having completed her Off-Broadway stage debuts, such as End Days and The Wonderful Maladys on HBO Pilot. Molly was in a variety of regional shows, such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in the Barrington Stage Company, North Shore Music Theatre and the Westport Country Playhouse's performance of The Diary of Anne Frank. Molly played Anne. Molly is most well-known for her part in the movie Paranormal Activity 2 in which she portrays a teenaged daughter Ali and the ABC comedy created by Jack Burditt, and with Tim Allen entitled Last Man Standing
