Scarlett Johansson was born on November 22, 1984, in New York City New York. She is an American singer/actress whose range has won her recognition across many types of films ranging from thrillers and action films to period dramas. Johansson was born in New York City, and was raised by an father who was an architect and her mother, a producer. The twin brothers Hunter as well as her mother were among the youngest of siblings. When she was just seven year old, she started casting for commercials on television. She was enrolled at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute shortly after and attended the Professional Children's School, Manhattan to continue her training. When she was eight, she appeared alongside Ethan Hawke in the Off-Broadway production Sophistry and, at the age of nine she made her film debut as Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson later appeared in Just Cause (1995), her debut came with Manny & Lo a coming of age movie about two sisters running away. Next, she received the praise of critics for playing the role of a teenager who suffered an accident that left her with a blemish on screen in The Horse Whisperer (1998). She gained more attention with the film Ghost World (2002) as the self-deprecating outcast Rebecca. She is an experienced actor on stage, in addition to appearing on the show. She's given many of the most stunning shows, like in Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith began her journey into the entertainment industry in the early years of her life. As a child, Smith became interested with acting. Smith was offered her first gig as an actor when she was six years old thanks to her parents. Smith was in a television commercial for Dannon yogurt. Similar to many actors starting out, she decided to perfect her craft in the world of theater. In addition, she worked on other projects throughout the USA as well, and Wildflower was her first stage production. She attended the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
